Christmas Eve, Part II

Joe played Santa at a friend's Christmas party (I couldn't attend because of my leg) and one of the mom's recorded it. All the kids were very excited to see Santa but the entire time Hana was just hanging out in the background. At the end of the video she ran up to the camera and said, "That wasn't the real Santa. That was just my daddy dressed like him!" She told me later she recognized his wedding ring. So...
Uncle Josh played Santa this Christmas Eve! And he did a FANTASTIC job!

What time is it? It's poser time!
Anyone have any advice for me on how to keep her from being so camera shy?

After a quick photo shoot (while waiting for Santa to disrobe and Josh to re-join the festivities) it was time for presents.

Makes my heart sing...

One night as I was putting Hana to bed she said, "Momma, I know exactly what I'm going to wear tomorrow. It's a very special outfit and I cna't tell you about it. You'll just have to wait and see!" After her prayers were said and she was snug as a bug, I headed into the playroom to unplug that Christmas tree and stumbled upon this laid out on the floor
It was one of the most adorable things I have ever seen!
With happy tears streaming down my face, I went downstairs to grab my camera and Joe.

Annabelle

With everything that has been going on with my leg & the holidays, I didn't blog as much as I should have. I definitely didn't share as much of Annabelle's elfcapades as I should have. So I thought I would now. Here's what she did her last few nights here.
One night she made reindeer food for us to sprinkle on the lawn Christmas Eve night. (but we forgot!)
On Christmas Eve morning Hana found this letter from her
and later she discovered her nose had been painted red while she was asleep!
