Not Much Going On

Well, it's Thursday and I am grateful for that. Even though I don't "work" now, I still really look forward to the weekends. I think that's just human nature. Plus, I guess I kind of like having Joe around...LOL! We don't have anything planned for today. I thought about running to the store, but it's supposed to be super cold today, at least that's what Grammy Finfrock told me this morning, so we'll stay inside as much as possible. Hopefully Joe will get to leave work early today. He was there until almost midnight last night. They're having new carpet installed so someone has had to stay every night this week so far. Then he had to turn around and open this morning. He has got to be tired! I'm sleepy too. I stayed up trying to wait on him and then he put Hana in bed with me this morning around 6:00. I know he just missed seeing her last night so he had to sneak in a hello this morning and he assumed we would just snuggle up and go back to sleep, but she did not want to go back to sleep. Oh well! Maybe he'll come home early and we'll all take a nap! :-)

Hana is so funny. I just had to take a break from typing so I could help her climb out of her wagon which she climbed into all by herself. She had everything out but one leg and she was really struggling with that leg! Silly girl.

I've been meaning to mention what happened to my friend Dawn. She hurt her leg really bad on New Year's Eve. She had some drinks and then turned. That's all. She just turned and her knee snapped! Now she's going to have surgery on the 22nd. I can't believe it!

We don't have any plans for the weekend really. The Clarks were supposed to come to visit but there's been a change in those plans. Mom mentioned maybe meeting them in Mesquite for lunch on Saturday. That sounds like lots of fun. I hope we get to at least do that. Then the Brooms are supposed to come over Saturday evening for a play date. We're going to be watching Rowdy starting this weekend while Jenn goes on her cruise. I must admit I'm a bit jealous. A vacation sounds pretty good right about now! Hana will be very happy to have "puppy" here! And with that said, we won't be able to go to the lake to visit everyone. We would have Joe, Hana, me, Pagan and Rowdy in one vehicle - NOT! I just got off the phone with Jenn and she filled me in on all the meds Rowdy will be taking while he's here! It's going to be geriatric central over here! Maybe I should lock Wayne, Pagan and Rowdy in a room and see what happens...LOL! I can't believe I just typed that. How awful of me! I do, however, think Pagan and Rowdy both need a pill box like Wayne's!

So that's it. Oh, yea, I almost forgot to tell all the Zoners what's for lunch today. Fish sticks with macaroni and cheese and peas. Yum! It's going to be a starch fest!

**I had a comment on Happy Hump Day asking about this oil thing. Yes, Rita uses them. They're oils we put in a burner over a tea light to make the house smell delightful.
