Fish Sticks & Anklets

The fish sticks were a success - for Hana Grace. I, however, was reminded that I do not care for fish sticks! Yuck! I am trying to make sure Hana gets to try and hopefully like the things I don't, which is pretty much fish in every shape and form. Oddly enough, I'm coming around to sushi. It's not "fishy!" LOL I do not cook fish in my house because I cannot stand the smell (or taste). I blame this on growing up on a lake and living next door to a man I like to call Meanie, God rest his soul, Meanie is now deceased. The funny thing is he was really anything but a meanie. I just called him that because he would catch huge catfish with his trot line and then he'd hang them on his clothes line to gut and clean them. I was very young at the time and the sight of those huge bloody fish being gutted was almost as repulsive as the smell they emitted! I hope not to pass my hatred for any and all things fishy on to my precious daughter. I want her to at least be able to make up her own mind that she does not like fish! LOL Heaven help me if she loves it though, I don't know if I could start cooking it in my house. I guess we would just go out to eat it! (That's what we do for Joe and Wayne now) It's not that I'm high maintenance, it just makes me physically ill to smell that horrific odor. The fish sticks today was a big effort on my part, and I'm glad she liked them. Fish sticks don't smell the house up too bad!
Before
After
Our girl has figured out something else to do with her "bracelets." Now she's wearing anklets! She did this all by herself too!
I have videos to go here but I can't get them uploaded. I'll keep trying!

Coutney, ya'll was with us when we ate at hook, line and sinker wasn't you ? What did you eat ? I can't remember. Hana will like to catch fish with her gramps out of a boat.I promise I won't throw her in like I did you at Hanas' age. What was I thinking, but living at the lake it was either sink or swim. Sorry 'bout that. Luv, D.C.
