Trick-or-Treat!

Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let down your hair!
Notice Paschal sitting on her shoulder?
Yes, Paschal is really a chameleon and that is a stuffed frog, but no one knew any better.

Once Daddy had his haunted house all situated (stay tuned!), it was time to trick-or-treat.
She let her princess lantern light the way.
Our street was a big hit this year! Our neighborhood is always decked out for Halloween, but this year our street was the biggest hit of all!
This next one was my favorite. (I tried out my night setting on my camera. I was not pleased. I'll have to play with that some more.)
Clearly Hana has no fear. I guess that's what happens when you have Joe and myself for parents.
This next yard (or cemetery) was impressive, too.
And these people are always a hit! It's hard to tell, but there's a coffin in the driveway that a boy pops out of. Of course everyone's on their best behavior when they see Hana. She can't wait to be old enough to see the real action!
Hana was wearing her fancy light up Rapunzel dress shoes I got her a while back. I could tell they had started hurting her feet and after I asked her several times if they were, she finally said, "Yes, but I'm okay, Momma. I want to keep trick-or-treating." Halfway through trick-or-treating she reached her arms out to me and said, "My feet hurt, my candy's heavy and I'm tired." So I (gladly) carried her all the way home. As we were walking she said, "I can't wait to put my pajamas on, wash this make up off my face (her neighbor friend did her "princess make up") and help Daddy with the spooky house! And that's exactly what we did.
