Hana's "Real Birthday"

I thought Hana might be a little confused this year as she realized we had her birthday party almost a week before her actual birthday. Nope, not this kid! She was well aware that her "real birthday" was Friday.

She had a wonderful day. She woke up to a couple more presents, as Ninny (Yep, she's officially Ninny now instead of Neeny. Hana confirmed it. Although she also said Geegaw's name is Geegaw-Geegaw. But we'll just stick with Geegaw.) and Geegaw had a little something special for her and her Daddy and I waited until her actual birthday to give her our present.

Then I let her pick what she wanted for breakfast, which was pancakes, and then I let her pick what color of pancakes she wanted. She picked orange.

She even got two slices of bacon with them. Just like her Daddy, she LOVES bacon! Then she got dressed in her birthday outfit

and her Daddy took her to the movies to see , Tangled was sold out. While they had some much-needed daddy-daughter time, Mom and I hit the stores for a little Black Friday shopping. We picked up a couple more birthday surprises for her while we were out.

Of course we had to get her a slice of (carrot) cake to enjoy and a candle to blow out on her "real birthday!"
