The Great Outdoors

My new rose bush. Thanks, Joe!
Our very own Easter bunny. I tried to snag a pic of him around Easter, but he wouldn't have it. Now he just hangs around waiting for me to take his picture. Silly rabbit!

Yesterday evening we went to the park and Joe successfully flew a cheap kite. We bought it at Big Lots for $2 and it broke before he ever had the chance to fly it, but he summoned his inner McGyver, rigged it and was able to get it in the sky! Unfortunately I did not capture proof of that because Hana was sitting on my shoulder at the time so I couldn't record it. Oops!
This afternoon Hana and I walked up to the HOA park.

This afternoon I had to run to Target to pick up some pics I had developed and, of course, we ended up in the shoe department. Check out Hana's new shoes! She is absolutely obsessed with her big-girl shoes.

She needs to practicing walking in them though. It's hard to keep them on without a back!
Giddy up!

Joe grilled pork tenderloin on the grill this evening so we played out back for a while.

Joe's Topsy Turvy tomato plants are doing great!

Hana did a little break dancing???

Joe's other goodies are doing well also. This is a pic of his jalapenos, they're doing the best so far. He also planted rosemary, cilantro, basil and oregano.

Hana took a nap???

You've been mooned!

The park is always so much fun.We use to take Josh to the park when we lived in Arlington.I had a canoe,Josh and I went for a little ride in it one day at the park.Well we flipped over and Josh went to the bottom.I just reached down and swooped him up.What ? he wanted to do it again ! Did you know mother can walk on water.Next time I will tell you about,Courtney,me and the lake some day. Luv to all, Gramps
