She is very curious as to what it is. She is constantly messing with it, poking at it and saying "ow!" She's such a tough little girl, I didn't even know she had a booboo. She fell down, but her little shorts were covering her knees when she stood back up. She just said "uh-oh" and got up and brushed herself off. Her Daddy found the booboo later when he changed her diaper. He doctored it up and she never fussed once!
That same evening we went to see some friends of ours who are expecting twin girls. Joe helped install the car seat bases since he's a pro at it now. Hana posed for a picture as we headed out the door to their house.
Saturday morning Pagan had a vet appointment that went very well. Her elbow is completely healed - no more infection - and they did not give her anymore antibiotics. She took the last of them over the weekend! She is still taking thyroid meds and we are now giving her probiotics to try to restore everything she lost being on antibiotics for so long. After her appointment we were on the road again headed to the Lake. Here are some pics from our trip:
"No, no, Guthrie!"
Hana likes to tell Guthrie "No, no!" He loves her so much! He just licks her all over - yuck!
Hana and Gramps got to hang out quite a bit this time since Gramps was off this weekend.
The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend so we spent most of our time outside enjoying it before it gets too hot. Hana loves to be outside. She doesn't have many outside toys but she keeps herself busy with chores like cleaning out the flower beds.
She also raked a bit.
She even made time to stop and love on her puppy and her Daddy.
We learned this weekend that the bigger the dog the better as far as Hana is concerned. There's Pagan, Guthrie and Lucy. She loves to mess with them and lay next to them. She really likes their big dog beds! On the other hand she played a lot with Maggie this weekend. She tried so hard to get Maggie to chase her. When Maggie would finally go after her a bit Hana Grace would squeal and run right into Nana's arms! She must have ran a million circles around their patio table trying to get Lucy and/or Maggie to chase her. Her little shoes got so scratched up from running around on the concrete.
She even rode her horsey all over their patio. She found a good parking spot for it next to the swing before she started chasing the doggies some more.
Nana took her down to look at their flowers.
She wanted to hold her Great Aunt Dian's hand too. Not her Mommy's though. I tried to hold her hand and she pulled away so she could grab hold of Dian's! LOL
The next morning Hana experienced her very first bowl of Frosted Flakes. I've always thought "They're Grrrrreat," but she seemed to have a different opinion.
So her Daddy scrambled her an egg instead. Then Gramps fixed her a piece of toast with butter and jelly on it. YUM!
He put the biggest glob of jelly on it! It was too messy for miss prissy to eat it that way, so she just took the glob of jelly off and held it in the other hand. She then proceeded to take a bite of jelly out of one hand and then a bite of toast out of the other.
Before we headed home that afternoon, we made sure to go over to see Dian and Nana again and this time Brad was there!
We brought her new outside chair that Gramps and Nanny got for her. For a while all she wanted to do was sit next to Nana in her new chair. Then her Daddy and Gramps took her up the hill to go check out Brad's new truck.
