Another New Trick

Daddy taught me a new trick last night! I've gotten to where I catch on to things easily. If you show me how to do something, I do it. If you ask me to say something, I say it (within reason, of course). Here's a video of me doing my new trick. Make sure to watch until the very end because the look I give Mommy at the end is priceless!

Daddy left this morning for work and he won't be back home until tomorrow afternoon. I hated to see him go. He had to go out of town for business. I hope he knows how much I'll miss him! But Mommy is going to take me to story time at the library this morning. I'll get to see Annie, Helen, Thomas and maybe some of the others from the play group. Then, when we get home, Aunt Victoria will be here for her weekly visit! I so look forward to her weekly visits! I'll go to bed tonight, wake up in the morning, eat a couple times, play a whole lot, and then Daddy will be home before I know it! When he left this morning Mommy showed me how to blow a kiss and I did! Daddy's reaction was priceless.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot to talk about my flu shot, probably because it was no big deal. Everyone had warned Mommy, "It's going to hurt her SO bad!" "It's a thick serum, so she'll feel it going in." What a bunch of nonsense. I didn't even make an ugly face. Mommy brought Jiraffe for me so I was playing with him and didn't even care that I got a shot. The nurse even seemed so surprised. I guess everyone expected me to be a big baby about it! (pardon the pun) I go back on the 6th of December for the second dose, only three days after my one year well visit. I'm sure that one will be a piece of cake as well!

Hana you are such a smart girl. The face at the end is priceless. Were you giving your mother the
"i think this is enough look?" Hope you have fun at storytime. Your daddy will miss you as much as you miss him. Tell your aunt Victoria hi for me

Hana Grace, your daddy loves you and mommy very much. That's why he must drive on to make ya'll happy and safe. However your mommy can handle any and all situations that may arise. Never mistaken kindness for weakness. Luv, Gramps
