Yesterday was a big day at the Massey house. Hana Grace brushed her teeth for the first time with a big girl toothbrush and toothpaste! She absolutely loves brushing her teeth. She did try to do it herself but she doesn't quite have the coordination yet. And you know I did my research so the toothpaste is fluoride free and safe to swallow! LOL Another milestone she reached today was saying "baby." That's two different sounds she put together! She has said "Mommy" and "Daddy" in the past, but not regularly and definitely not on command as she is saying "baby" now. She tries to say everything we do, it just doesn't come out clearly. Every once in a while she surprises me and mimics my exact words, but then I can't get her to repeat it. She is also a professional walker now. She can turn, stop and continue, stop to pick something up and then continue...she's brilliant, I tell you! Hana Grace is also getting better at using her fork and spoon, although she prefers her fingers. You'll see in one of the videos below that she has now found another method of cleaning her plate. I guess being so brilliant and wonderful is tough on a girl because I snuck up on her in her playroom only to find her passed smooth out with one sock on and one sock off, diddle diddle dumplin' my daughter Hana! I don't' know what her deal is with that one sock! She's such a sweetheart. I enjoy every single second I spend with her. I can't believe she's going to be one in 20 short days! I'm taking her to get the first half of her flu shot today...wish us luck!
