The Joe Fire

Well, let's see what's happened since the last time I blogged...a lot! On Saturday we hung out with Betsy, Alvin, Josiah, and some of their friends. Joe played football with the guys until he took himself out of the game due to an injury. (He got a HUGE blister on his foot that popped and the skin was hanging off - yuck!)

Also, the family came up on Sunday to see the new place and to surprise Joe for his birthday. He was very surprised and he loves his chiminea. He fired it up last night, and I mean he FIRED it up. LOL He built his typical "Joe fire." It was nice, though. He surprised me by making the fire and opening a bottle of wine. He took Hana from me and told me to come here. I had no idea he had done all that! So the four - I mean five- of us sat out and enjoyed the fire (Joe, Hana, Pagan, me and we can't forget Hana's alligator), but only Joe and I enjoyed the wine! The pinion wood is awesome. It smells so good and the bugs weren't bothering us either! It kind of smells like cedar.




Jennifer took almost 1000 pics of Hana Grace this weekend! She's so busy now, I had to try to cover everything we needed in one day! LOL She took pictures of Hana in her Halloween costume and some for our Christmas cards, not to mention tons of her walking, crawling, and swinging in her new swing. Check them out. I also talked to Josh Bob the other night. I was ecstatic to hear he will be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. He's going to just melt when he sees little Hana in person. She's changed so much since the last time he saw her, which was in August. He'll probably be sad to see Pagan hobbling around with her bad hips and feet. I do have to say though, the new medicine we're giving her really seems to be helping.
