Garage Sales, Grandparents & Fingerpainting?

Well, the garage sale was a success! You'll have give your answer for the poll on the right of the screen and after the poll closes I'll let you know just how successful we were.

My Mom & Dad came up for a brief visit today. They only stayed 4 hours, but I think they got in some pretty good Hana time. We had to make a quick trip to Toys R Us and left Joe in charge of the garage sale and Hana, and as we were walking in the door of Toys R Us I got an interesting phone call. Apparently Hana finger painted for the first time today! She painted her Daddy a really pretty picture in the bottom of her playard with her very own poop. Joe called me in a panic. We had her playard set up in the garage next to us so she could be in there with us for the sale. Apparently just as Joe noticed she was "finger painting" car after car kept pulling up. He was able to take care of the situation and get most of the mess cleaned up before we made it back home. He claims she had it under her fingernails and everything. GROSS! The only part he didn't get cleaned up was the playard itself. No, it seems to have just soaked into the bottom of it. I wiped it down with disinfectant wipes, but that didn't work. Then we sprayed it with Resolve and let it soak in and then we rinsed it with hot water. Now it's clean and drying in front of the big oscillating fan. THANK GOODNESS!!! I'm glad I missed out on this first! LOL (I'm sure there will be plenty more)
