Welcoming the Weekend

Our swim date ended up getting canceled today, but we decided to get out the little pool we got for Hana. She was not pleased. I think it had a lot to do with bad timing on our part. It was close to dinner and nap time. The video shows Joe putting her in the water for the very first time. It ends in tears and the tears did not stop until we took her out. I tried to put toys in with her but it didn't seem to help much. We didn't let it carry on too long for fear that she would remember it all too well the next time. I think she'll react better in a big pool where we can get in with her.

Before we decided to let her play in the water we went out to eat to the Matito's that just opened up down the street...MMMMM! The best Spanish rice Joe and I have ever had - hands down! Hana got to sit in a high chair for the very first time. She had a blast, and as always she entertained everyone around us. She's such a people person! I hope she stays that way!

Even earlier in the day I had put Hana down for a nap. After a few minutes I went in to check on her, and this is what I found...


Looks like we need to lower her crib again!

Tomorrow is Joe's company picnic. That should be a lot of fun, but it will definitely be hot! I have Hana's dress picked out...she's going to wear the white one Mom got her that she was supposed to wear to Zone Fest but she spit up all over it as we were walking out the door. It's always a good time when we get to show off our beautiful little girl! You know, I have her outfit all picked out and just realized that I don't know what I'm going to wear. Things have sure changed!
