DYI

Our kitchen table chairs had seen better days, so I decided to take on a little DYI task. It probably wasn't a good idea to have cream-colored chair seats with a kid in the house anyway! I decided to go with a dark and busy pattern to mask any future stains and then sprayed three coats of Scotch Gard on them! Here's a before and after pic.

I like the material alright, I'm not in love with it or anything. I hoped the purple and blue would become more vibrant once on the chair, but it seems very red to me. It's probably best that I'm not in love with it, though. This way I won't become upset if someone decides to color on them with a permanent marker. LOL
