She wanted to start out in the kiddie pool.
In there she practiced sticking her head under water, holding her breath, blowing out of her mouth and keeping her mouth closed.
She even practiced kicking her legs.
And using her "squirt."
Then she would catch some sun.
A little Vitamin D never hurt anybody.
We played some.
Then we played some more.
We got a little more of that Vitamin D.
Hana cleaned the pool.
Then she wanted to get in the big pool.
But then she spotted the newest addition to our neighborhood pool.
She paid very close attention.
The slide is in the very deep part of the pool, so Joe was nice enough to let her go down with him. Wait, let me rephrase that. Joe was incredibly excited and childlike about the chance to go down the slide and used Hana as an excuse to get to go down it. ;-) Then she decided she really liked doing this:

That's my girl!!!
We figure by the end of the summer she'll be the lifeguard for the kiddie pool.

WOW, Hana is just a little fish....and daddy id the big fish! Looks like a good time was had by all! Maybe neeny and geegaw can come swim with Hana!

I think she could be skiing by the end of summer. Looks like a little Courtney, it won't be long and she will be swimming.

Man,I would be going there every day after work ! Or after breakfast.I would go after lunch,no after a nap.I would go to the pool after working up a sweat.No I would go to the pool before I got home from work.Maybe not because one would have to wear your bathing suit under your cloths.Anyway,what fun.
