Bummer. I care nothing about this game other than the fact that it's being played locally (and the commercials). This past week we had an ice storm and an arctic blast which I'm sure made them all feel right at home. Snow plows came in from West Texas and hundreds of thousands of pounds of sand had to be shipped in. I don't ever remember weather this bad. Once when I was little the lake froze over and all the water pipes froze up, but I don't think I really remember that as much as I remember everyone telling the stories. Schools all around were closed Tuesday-Friday of last week due to the road conditions. It was NUTS! I hope it didn't affect Super Bowl week revenues too much. In today's economy I know businesses were really looking forward to all the extra money expected to be spent.
So in true Dallas Cowboy fan fashion: here's to today, here's to Super Bowl XLV, here's to the ice storm and the arctic blast, here's to Cowboys Stadium, here's to Jerry Jones (ahem) and here's to the Packers hopefully winning just so the Steelers don't have yet one more Super Bowl ring than the Cowboys.
