Well, actually, that's just a bonus to building a fort.

FYI: We've been stuck inside for three days now due to a little winter blast. Don't get me wrong, I adore the cold weather, but this is a little too cold even for me. It's been too cold to even snow. That's a lot for this Texan to comprehend! So the roads are covered in ice, Joe's bank has been closing early, the schools are closed and most businesses are either closed or at least closing early. On the news the other day there was a man in a dune buggy rescuing cars that were stranded on the highways. Now that's how we handle winter emergencies in Texas! I've exhausted all of my indoor activities and Hana and I are officially over it. We're ate up with cabin fever big time! We're not ones to stay home much. I try hard to have at least an outing a day so I will not go stir crazy being a stay-at-home mom, and these past few days are doing me in. Last I heard, the temperature won't get above freezing until Saturday, but it is slowly warming up and they are speculating snow for tomorrow. Hana and I love playing out in the snow, so we're hopeful!
