Hana does take after me in so many ways. Just a few of those ways come through in this video. #1) She was so excited about the snow. #2) She had to go outside to see it up close. #3) She was barefoot and wearing a t-shirt but didn't feel the need to get back inside. #4) She couldn't wait for it to get deeper so we could play in it.
It snowed like crazy and in no time it was deep enough to play in.
Snowball fight!
Then Hana and her friend decided the snow was deep enough to dive into.
Like true Texans, we cut up an old box and used it as a sled. The first time is always slow because you have to create a good path for the "sled." (WARNING: To all of you who knew and loved Rowdy, there is a dog in the next few videos that is a spitting image of him. Hana actually thought it was Rowdy and kept calling him by that name.)
Joe's turn!
We met some of our neighbors (the owners of the dog) who moved here from Michigan. Needless to say, they were more than prepared for the snow and shared their sleds with us. They probably went home later and laughed at all the silly Texans using cardboard!
Now we're about to bundle up and get back out in it! Hooray for snow! And my ankle seems to be much better today. I hurt it running through the snow yesterday in the midst of a snowball fight. I stepped off a curb I didn't know was there because the snow was so deep!

Looks like so much fun! Y'all got lots of snow, too. And the doggie did remind me of a young Rowdy, even in the sweater!
