Turkey (aka Wayne, Hana's grandfather, Joe's father) moved out and into his very own place in a quaint senior community very, very close to our house and Aunt Bicky's house. It's pretty much located right smack dab in between our two houses. He seems to be doing really well there and seems to be very happy. I think it's safe to say that we're all enjoying our own space and privacy. His recent move out has benefited Miss Hana in a big way (other than the fact that she misses her Turkey). She now has her very own bathroom! This upstairs bathroom is one door down from her bedroom but she never really used it while he was here because I didn't consider it to be safe for her. In other words, it wasn't childproof. There was no way for me to fully childproof it because that would mean it was also Turkey-proof.
He took the towels, rugs and such from this bathroom to his new apartment so I thought it the perfect opportunity to "kid it up," so to speak. I have always wanted to decorate a child's bathroom. Strange? Probably. But, oh well! LOL I had a friend in court reporting school who had two daughters and their bathroom was also the guest bath, which was all "kidded out." I loved it and (not even married at that time) couldn't wait to be able to decorate a kid's bathroom one day. So here it is. It's not finished. Please ignore the paint on the walls, it will be painted soon! A nice, um, shaker beige, which is the main color of Jennifer's walls. What can I say? She picked a great color! So anyhow, this is the first phase of her new bathroom. And, yes, I got it all at Kohl's on sale and used coupons and also received Kohl's cash for the purchase which is burning a hole in my wallet...I should advertise for them, seriously. ;-)
