A Girl & Her Make Up

Hana loves to put on make up, and as you know, I'm not one to stop her from doing things she loves to do - within reason, of course! I was becoming more and more annoyed with her wanting to use my make up, however. I wear Bare Escentuals, and it's not cheap! It's also incredibly easy to spill because it's a loose powder, even the sparkly eye shadow Hana adores.
While organizing the bathroom cabinet I discovered that I still had quite a bit of my old make up. When I worked out of the home, I loved to wear all different kinds and colors of make up. While pregnant with Hana, my face became incredibly oily and I switched to Bare Escentuals and haven't looked back. So it occurred to me that this would be perfect for miss Hana to play in, and so it was!
I wanted to get her some sort of Caboodle or something to keep it nicely in. Let's just say I was astonished when I saw the prices of Caboodles these days! Sorry, but I'm not going to pay $15 for a plastic box for my not-quite-three-year-old to keep her make up in! LOL! And yes, I realize that entire statement sounded ridiculous. Anyhow I somehow ended up in the storage container department of the store and found a pretty little pink box for only $2. Now, that's more like it! And the make up fits perfectly in it!
It's just a bunch of eye shadow and lip gloss, nothing else. We used Hana's pretty new and very appropriate Fancy Nancy stickers (thanks Neeny!) and decorated the lid.
The big center sticker is Fancy Nancy's make up box, which is an old tackle box.
Now when my make up comes out, so does Hana's.

Every once in a while she wants to put sparkles on her eyes and I try to encourage her to use the very light shades. Last week she put on blue eyeshadow before we met up with Jenno and, even though I did my best to remove it, it appeared she had a black eye the rest of the day!

Mostly she just stands there and puts on lip gloss. Lots and lots of lip gloss.

Well, just like her mommy she doesn't need any make-up at all, but if she wants to be my Fancy Hana Gracie Girl she can!
Love, neeny xxooxoxxooxxoxo :)

I have to agree that she's just adorable without any makeup! But I understand the obsession with makeup...I won't even mention how much I've got!! I do have some loose sprinkly eyeshadow Hana could have if happy mommy allows. They were little sample ones.
