Gone Fishin'

Hana spent the night with her Aunt Bicky and Shirshank last night for the first time. Apparently she had a blast because she was worn out! She got to go fishing and it seems she set out to make her Nana proud. The story goes...

Hana was given her very own Scooby Doo fishing pole baited with weenies and shad. She was fishing real close to the shore while everyone else was "really fishing." Apparently Miss Hana Grace caught FIVE fish (perch), which was more than anyone else! They said she was reeling them in and everything. After a while they just left her hook empty and let her fish and she still caught one with no bait!

She loves to tell the story and she's definitely a Texan because the fish get bigger every time she tells it. She had a great time visiting Aunt Bicky and Shirshank and even got to hang out with Lisa, who is a fellow Zoner, but Hana doesn't think she eats grass. According to Hana, only boy Zoners eat grass now.

While Hana was away, Joe and I decided to go see another musical. This time we saw Beauty & the Beast and it was phenominal! It was so bright and colorful, well, very Disney I guess. We had no idea that the audience was going to be full of pretty little girls dressed up like Belle. It made us miss Hana so much. Now we can't wait to take her - dressed up and all!

Wow, they had so much fun! Hana is a little fisherman, and I'm sure she made her nana PROUD! Is that Lou Curry by Shershank?

No its Memaw (Mary Skinner), Lou's grandmother. You would be so proud Nana, I promise.
