Dear David

Hana, my nearly three year old (OMG! It's only about 4 months until then!) darling little girl, aka the light of my life. What's that? You've heard of her? Oh, okay then. I'll move on...

When Hana heard that our friend David hurt his finger really bad, she literally gasped out loud and immediately said, "I'll color him a card to make him much better!" So she did and it's in the mail as we speak. We got to see him (and Brad and Jenno) today, but the card was already en route via the postal service so hopefully he'll get it tomorrow. It was a spontaneous visit to Jenno's house today to check out the progress and I'm pleased to report that things are looking good over there. Anyhow, she worked very hard on this card and even decided she wanted to write his name. I just had to take a picture to show off. First, I cannot believe at the age of two she said, "I'm gonna write his name!" Second, I cannot believe that she really did write his name. I told her how to spell it and she wrote the letters as I said them. FYI, when you receive the card, David, your name is written on the back. And here it is:
Way to go Hana! You always make me so proud! I love, love, LOVE your spoge of a brain and I thoroughly enjoy watching you grow and learn and absorb every single thing you're taught! Keep it up little one! (Sorry, I just can't help myself!)
