Sleeping "In" the Bed

Hana usually naps in our bed. Today I snuck in to check on her and this is what I found.

At first I didn't see her at all, but then I spotted her feet.

I know it looks scary, but we have a sleigh bed. The mattress gets pushed (by a certain little girl) up toward the headboard and she has plenty of room to climb through between the mattress and the foot board.

She actually gets "in" the bed quite often, she's just never napped there before! This is what happened upon discovery:
1. I made sure she was breathing and not in distress.
2. I grabbed the camera and took pictures. (Because I'm an awesome mom)
3. I gently lifted her out and she immediately woke up and said, "Thank you!"
4. I placed her in the bed (on top of the mattress) and she fell back asleep.
5. I blogged about it.
