She had an appointment scheduled to see Heather at Sweet N Sassy last week but something came up and I needed to change the appointment. So the day before the appointment I called the store and got a recording which notified me that that particular location had closed it's doors - for good. Thanks for calling to let me know!!! So I called another location and scheduled her an appointment for this morning. Hana was very concerned that Heather would not be "making her hair", as she calls it. I assured her the new lady would be just as wonderful as Heather, and I had my fingers crossed (really tight!). I never thought it would be so hard to find a decent person to cut my kid's hair, but I have been proven wrong. We all remember her first visit to a salon, don't we?

Well, if you don't remember, I paid $20 for the lady to talk on the phone the whole time and put ponytail on top of Hana's head rather than give her a real hair cut. So, please forgive me if I've become a bit picky about who cuts her hair! Heather was a gem. She was so good with Hana and really seemed to know what she was talking about. Obviously Hana really liked her since she was looking forward to seeing her today and she only cut Hana's hair once before! Anyhow, today we met Mallory. I originally went in and said Hana needed her bangs trimmed and that was all. But then I started talking with Mallory and decided I had some confidence in her so went went for an all over shape up. Well, my confidence proved true! We seem to have replaced Heather with someone (dare I say) even better! What do you think?
She even managed to do a better job putting the glitter stars on her cheeks!
(I know! What are we going to do with that thumb? I'm about to break down and buy some of that nasty tasting polish)
All hail Mallory! Please don't go anywhere! Please! Please! Please! We WILL be back to see you! And what a lucky little girl Mallory has. (She shared with me that she has a two-year-old son and a four-month-old daughter and cannot wait until her daughter is Hana's age.) Mallory did such a wonderful job on Hana's hair and was so great with her, I just think she has one of the luckiest daughters in the world!

The hair cut is great. I think it makes Hana look older! Good job Mallory
