Since the day she was born, whatever she does, she does it well.
Why was she so upset? Well, because instead of just putting her socks on her feet for her, I was trying to teach her how to do it herself. How dare I? She can put them on her hands, but not on her feet. She did not want me to teach her at that time, she just wanted me to do it for her so we were in a stubborn-off. She's stubborn. I'm stubborn. And so it was. For now, I'm the winner of all stubborn-offs. I continued folding laundry and just ignored her tantrum until it subsided and she ended up just laying on the floor until she calmed herself down. Then we talked about it and I showed her how to put the socks on her feet. Victory. For now anyway. Now you see why one of my New Year's resolutions was to have more patience! =)

Courtney,
You have more patience than any other mother (besides Sissy)that I have ever known! Don't ever doubt yourself, you're there for that baby day and night....not to mention the other responsibilities ytou have as a wife and daughter (in-law).....so it is to be expected that your fuse gets a little bit short at times!
Love you,
Ashley
