Nap time has become, well, interesting. Some days she goes right to sleep and doesn't make a peep until it's time to wake up. Other days it's a struggle. A big struggle. Sometimes we just omit the nap altogether, which is what we did yesterday. I had to go up there FIVE different times yesterday during "nap time." I'm usually pretty strong and I don't let her get the best of me. Remember the stubborn-off I blogged about before? Well, I'm still the winner - most of the time, at least. However, yesterday she did this:
Of course the best stuff is never caught on tape. Before I decided to grab the camera and hit record she was screaming "I love you, Mommy! I love you so much!" She screamed it over and over again. I was able to catch the end of it with the camera. Then I went up and got her and just forgot about nap time. =)
It went pretty smooth today when I put her down for a nap. She only pulled on my heart strings by saying, "Lay down with me, Mommy. Don't leave!" And yes, I did lay down for just a bit with her until she drifted away to dreamland. Who could resist?
