Meet the Puppies

Hana's new favorite snugly is a cute little puppy dog she appropriately named Puppy. Ever since it's turned cold outside (hooray!) Puppy has been her new buddy. She insists he stays covered up with his banky.

He and his banky go everywhere with us. Sometimes he gets left in the car because (and I quote) he's sleeping. Hana will even say to me, "listen, Puppy's snoring!" He eats when she eats; I think his favorite snacks are Goldfish because he seems to request them a lot. "Mommy, Puppy want gold ship!" He even gets tucked into bed with Hana at night. Not under her banky though, under his banky, of course!

Now Puppy is not to be confused with her other puppy she has appropriately named (ahem) Duncan. What's that you say? Duncan is Josh and Angela's cat, you say?

Well, when Josh and Angela moved back from Cali, they stayed with us for a little while. Remember? When they first arrived with Duncan, he was in his pet taxi

and Hana just thought that was awesome!

Well, Hana's friend Josiah got Hana her very own Duncan for her birthday.

See, he's a furry little puppy who lives in a pet taxi and he came with everything needed to care for him: treats, food, a food bowl, even a stethoscope, a fake syringe and a thermometer which Hana uses to take our temperatures with and tell us we're sick. It's never anything a hug can't fix though. That's right, she hugs us and tells us we're "all better." Duncan goes night night a lot, too. Sometimes he even gets the night night song sang to him...
