It was 9 degrees!
Thank goodness they had parkas to hand out to all of us Texans!
They even had slides made of ice! We all had at least one turn. Here's Hana on one of her three:
We thought the slide was the finale, but it was only about the half-way point. Too bad we hung out way too long at the slides and were very cold at this point! LOL
Once we exited and thawed out in the gift shop while Josh paid almost $4000 for 10 copies of a picture of us taken there (Long story. Clerk error. Problem resolved.), there was still so much to look at inside the Gaylord! Like, for instance, this toy soldier on stilts that Hana would not have a thing to do with.
There were several toy trains roaming about.
And so many beautiful Christmas trees.
We finally found the life-size gingerbread house, which ended up being a big letdown. It wasn't really all made out of edible things. The repairman was walking around with a caulking gun and you could see things were hot glued on! Jenno was very disappointed.
