O Who? Oh Crap! Oh Croup!

Oh Who?
Oh, I think we know who. OU is who.

Oh Crap!
What a game... I have nothing else to day about that. ;-)

Oh Croup!
A great time was had at the game, but not by me.

Ready for some answers? Miss Hana Grace decided to wake up around midnight last night with a horrible croupy cough, on the verge of stridor. She was sobbing uncontrollably, gasping for air and barking like a seal. We went to see the doctor today and got a prescription to fight off the bad guys. From what I was told, once you get croup, it can make itself a frequent unwelcome visitor. At least until you hit an age where you outgrow it. I guess some kids get ear infections, some get the croup. It looks like mine gets the croup. She's okay, though. Other than that horrible cough, the raspy voice and all the congestion, she's feeling pretty good. Needless to say I stayed put today and took care of my precious girl - with Neeny's help! It was a fun girls day, just hanging out and playing, croup or no croup.

Josh was able to join Joe at the game and, although they left at 10:00am and have yet to make it back home, it sounds like a great time was had regardless of the score. Yep, they left this morning under the impression that the game was at 1:00. Well, it was at 1:00. Then it was rescheduled for 6:00. So they hit the casino and then made their way to the game. They stayed long enough to make a few Okie friends and see the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band wow the crowd at halftime and then they were out of there. I can't think of a better person to have been with Joe when he arrived at the stadium in Norman feeling as if they were late due to traffic, expecting to find a full stadium and a football game taking place ,only to find out that the game doesn't really start for another 5 hours. Josh is such a roll-with-the-punches kind of guy. I am not like that at all. I would have thrown a temper tantrum that Hana would have been envious of! It's funny how life plays out, isn't it?

Although today was out of control in many ways, it turned out to be a wonderful day. In a way, I'm kind of glad it turned out the way it did. Yes, I am sad I wasn't able to make it to the game, but I'm ecstatic that Joe and Josh got to spend some time (the entire day - LOL) together, just like Neeny, Hana and myself.

I guess life handed us lemons and we made some darn good lemonade!

Gig 'Em!

I was listening on the radio on my way to work. The Horns was having thier way with the BU Bears and they kept saying ou and Aggie game at 6:00 p.m. I was confused. They had fun anyway.Anyway I will root for TU on thier way to national championship. However my old stomping ground around Fort Worth Texas still lingers in my heart. How 'bout dem Frogs. They beat Utah 55-28,on thier way to big bowl game. So,if anyone can find a TCU t-shirt please let me know or I bleed purple shirt. One day soon I will get with my sons and get the real scoop about the trip to oklahoma.Did they find Freds and did they eat ?What happens in oklahomo stays in oklahomo.

Your father is a mess.....he remebers his youth, and feels every man will jump at an opportune time! They made the best out of the situation, and we did, too! Hana changes every minute, and I have already missed way too many minutes! Of course I had my baby girl with me, too...we had a very croupy, but wonderful day!
