Today would have been Pagan's 10th birthday. I wish she were here to celebrate with us and receive lots of love, hugs and kisses. I always bought her a present (or two or three or four) for her birthday and she could even unwrap them! Her favorites for so long were "Rowdy Babies." What on earth is a Rowdy Baby, you ask? Well, they are these cute little babies made specifically for dogs. They come in all colors, shapes and sizes. They're made out of very durable material and have nothing else sewn or attached to them such as eyes, nose and mouth, making them very safe for dogs to chew on. We first discovered them while dog-sitting Rowdy. He brought his over and (young) Pagan destroyed it. We had to get Rowdy a replacement baby. When purchasing Rowdy's replacement baby, I went ahead and got one for Pagan. That's how they got the name "Rowdy Babies." For a while Pagan could tear through one in no time, leaving stuffing strewn about, but as she grew older she just wanted to snuggle with them.
I still have a huge basket of all of her old Rowdy Babies and other miscellaneous toys. It's bittersweet for me to even think of them because I remember the good times she had with them, but there at the end she didn't care much for any of her toys. She just wanted to be left alone.
Our old desktop computer had to be wiped clean due to a virus, so Joe transferred all the files from it to our laptop and I have the wonderful job of sorting through it all. Fortunately for me though, it's mostly pictures and music. I would like to share a handful of my favorite pictures I've come across so far.

Happy birthday Pagan, I know you are running and playing in doggie heaven. When Guthrie meets you up there I hope you will be able to jump over him like he used to do you.... Happy 10th in heaven!
Miss you, Neeny
