Well, now that you're all caught up, I hope you're ready for the finale.
Yep. Hana grace learned how to do this last weekend. She had been on the verge for a few days, I found her a couple times straddling the rail, but last Sunday she finally found the nerve to kick that second leg over and she was home free! She's gotten pretty good at it, don't you think? LOL I mean, she was climbing out up to twice a day, so she had time to perfect her skills. I asked Hana yesterday, after her second successful breakout of the day, if she wanted a big girl bed and she exclaimed, "Big girl bed, Mommy, please!" So I decided to put on my big girl panties since Hana already seemed to be wearing hers, and Daddy put on his big boy panties (that is really what Hana calls her Daddy's underwear), and we made the switch this morning, with Hana's help of course.
Have I mentioned yet that we're officially in the "what's that" phase?
Hana: What's that, Daddy?
Daddy: An allen wrench.
Hana: Hana do it, too?
Hana: What's that, Daddy?
Daddy: Your new bed rail.
Hana: Hana help Daddy!
Hana: Wee! Big girl bed!
Mommy: Sigh
Mommy: sigh
She's taking a very successful nap in it right now (and my fingers are still crossed)!
That's my super girl!
*Sigh*

Well, I guess this was the final season of crib break, but now I will look forward to bedroom break season one? The bed is precious, and it actually brought tears to neeny's eyes once again...she continues to make way for milestones in her precious life!
