Pigs Are Flying
I sit here wearing a surgcal mask with a can of Lysol spray next to me. I am surrounded by antibacterial in every form: spray, gel, foam, and Kleenex with antibacterial in them to cough into when I have one of my frequent coughing fits that hurt my raw throat so incredibly bad. If this post makes no sense, I apologize in advance. I seem to be in great state of Nirvana where all my meds seem to be peaking all at once. I feel good enough to blog and as Joe says, nothing can keep a determined blogger down. Nothing. Except maybe the Swine Flu. Or as the pros like to call it, N1H1. Yep. I was diagnosed yesterday. Can you believe it? Me! Miss Anitbacterial! LOL Word has it my big brother was bit by the same pig. I hate that, and I also hate to tell him that I have had it for two solid days now and I feel worse today than I did yesterday. Basically I feel like crap. I guess I should have expected to get worse before I get better. I mean, any time the doc tells you to wear a surgical mask around your kid and confines you to your house for at least 6-7 days, it should be plainly obvious that you're going feel like crap for the majoirty of you mini quarratine. The doc told me I will continue to be highly contagious until I have no fever without the use of fever-reducing meds, and he thinks that will be at the earliest Monday. Great. Right now the fever-reducing meds are just that. Fever reducing. Even the meds aren't getting it down below 99.9. But, hey! That's a lot better than the 102.9 I woke up with last night! I realize that's probably not a terribly fever, but I don't remember the last time I was sick and had a fever that high. If I get sick it's always just a cold. I had bronchitis with an upper respiritory infection a few years back, but that had nothing on this misery! LOL I'll be better soon, as will Josh. Hopefully I haven't infected anyone else. Joe is home taking care of me, but most importantly taking car of Hana Grace. Her temperature is perfet and she is showing no syptoms, as are her Daddy and Wayne. I'm basically confined to my bedroom with an occasional outing to look at my beatiful daughter. Then I spray everything I've looked at with Lysol and crawl back into my sty. I'm porposely not going to spell check this entry or even read back over it make sure it makes sense because it wouldn't help anway. I'll enjoy reading back over this when I'm well! TTYL! Oink Oink! And, yes, Joe has taken pics.
