The Mystery of The Jenno

POST #3 FOR THE AFTERNOON! (Scroll back and catch up!)
I found out this morning that Jennifer, aka Jenno and now "The Jenno," will be joining Hana and me at our town "carnival" this afternoon/evening. I am so excited to have her join us! I was afraid it was just going to be the two of us since Joe has to work late. Not that that wouldn't be any fun, but it would be much more enjoyable with Jennifer! Hana will be wearing her costume to the "Scare on the Square," so I decided to get her all Halloweened up for the first part of the day.
She loved the thought of having three "tee-tails." LOL
And she kept counting them and pointing to them.
While "we" were dressing her and doing her hair, I went ahead and told her that Jennifer would be joining us later for the Halloween Festival. I came in to the kitchen to check my email (On the laptop that's sitting on the table. Our office is not also our kitchen! LOL) and here comes Hana:
I guess she thought we were leaving right then so she needed her shoes on. Where was she headed once I stopped recording? Well, to look for "The Jenno" of course! The poor thing thought The Jenno was already here. She kept asking "Where'd The Jenno go, Mommy?" She ran from room to room yelling "Jenno?!" She even looked under the door to our guest bathroom to see if The Jenno might be in there taking a potty break. In the midst of all the Jenno commotion, Hana would randomly ask me "Do you hear the monkey, Mommy?" Or at least that's what I thought she was saying. It took me a while, but then I put it all together. Well, it helped, too, that when I repeated back to Hana "Do I hear the monkey?" She corrected me, "No, Mommy! Maggie! Do you hear Maggie, Mommy?" There was a bird out back that would squawk ever so often and it sounded a lot like Nana's dog, Maggie.
Now she is napping. Maybe she'll have a good, long nap so that when she wakes up The Jenno will be here and we will finally get to solve the case of the missing Jenno.
