Blackeyed Pea Festival
Yesterday, due to the Swine Flu, we missed the Blackeyed Pea Festival. Joe had even entered the Blackeyed Pea cookoff, but we felt it was better to be safe than sorry. But guess what! The reigning Grand Champion, our very own Neeny, took home the grand prize yet again! The winning reci-pea this year was her Blackeyed Pea-za. YUMMY! Oh, well, at least we had fun eating Joe's "Pea"no Poppers at home!

Thank you Massey's! I had lots of help from geegaw! I will have to cook it for all of you since I changed from the pie! You forgot to mention that Joseph would have been right beside me...we would have halved a table, and nobody knew we were family! We could have had so much fun with all of you! Hana would love to play in the place her mommy and daddy joined together to be as one! XXOXO Neeny

Yes, we had fun saturday at the cook-off.Hana Grace would have had fun.There were so many things for the kddos to do.When Ninny wins everyone wins.I still can't believe how many people in Athens love Ninny.Of course I'm the one standing in the corner by myself and quietly claps,while hundreds of people surrounds her.But,I know I'm the one whom will be going home with the grand champion.
