FOUR YEARS!

I cannot believe it has been four years since Joe and I said 'I do!' In some ways it feels like it was just yesterday. In other ways it feels like it has been an eternity! LOL And I do, honestly, mean that in a good way! Since we dated almost five years before we were married, I guess it should feel like a lot longer than four years. As I discuss plans for Josh and Angela's
upcoming exchange of vows, I can't help but reminisce. I hope I don't drive them crazy by bringing my wedding up all the time! I'm trying so hard not to do that, but it just happens. Aside from the arrival of our beautiful daughter, I can honestly say that my wedding day was the best day of my life! It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Simple and fun. I just wanted to party my #@$ off the night of my wedding - and I most certainly did!
And why not? It's a celebration, right? I was 24, he was 27 and we liked to party. I will never forget that day. Ever. I am proud to say that I am even more in love with him today than I was when we said our vows. As our love continues to grow and our relationship continues to evolve, I hope it does nothing but bring us closer. My parents have set a pretty good example for me, February will be, what, 35 years of marriage for them?
I pray Joe and I can follow in their footsteps. I can honestly say that I married my best friend. I know it's cliche, but he really and truly does complete me. I hope he still feels like he's on top of the world!
THEN
NOW

Speaking of Josh and Angela's upcoming wedding, Angela caught the bouquet at my wedding, and as far as I know she is really the next one getting married!
