Row-ry

Rowdy helps Hana learn valuable lessons.

No worries. I have given Rowdy his very own safe haven.
When the little girl is a little too "in his face" he retreats to his safe haven, and if Hana wanders in, I close the "door" to keep her out. At first I felt bad doing this, but I immediately found that he likes it. Even when I have his pillow elsewhere, he comes into his safe haven to get away! He's still "in the know" but he's Hana free, except for when she throws her toys in with him. She's really sweet about telling him night night when he's in his safe haven though. For those of you who think this is mean, I challenge you to finding a happy medium with an elderly pup and a toddler!

Hana is very happy to have Row-ry here with us, I hope the feeling is mutual! LOL Last time we kept him he seemed content to just stay with us when Jenn came to pick him up. This time he might be waiting for her in the car! LOL Hana just LOVES him! He's like a real life stuffed animal! When I got her out of bed this morning she immediately threw her arms up in the air and said "Row-ry?" Needless to say she was pleased to find him waiting for her downstairs. Silly me, did I say he was waiting for her? I meant he was sleeping on his pillow. But Hana sure thought he was waiting for her! =)
