Li'l Mama

I never understood why some people refer to their daughter as "Li'l Mama." That was until recently.

All of a sudden Hana decided that she no longer likes all that clutter in her "office."

She prefers to keep it all here and she pulls things out of the basket as she needs them in her office.

I thought this was so strange and funny and wondered to myself "Where does she get that from?" It's almost like she's trying to create an illusion that something is neat and organized while hiding it away in a box/basket. Hmmm... I honestly assumed it was one of those "skills" her pediatrician told me about where kids her age like to put things in baskets and cups and such only to pull it back out. Makes sense, right? She is at that age where she likes to do that. Then I walked into our home office and saw this...

Then I realized that I do the exact same thing! I hide everything in those boxes and pull it out as I need it, creating the illusion that everything is neat and organized!

And just a minute ago I found this:

Now I really understand "Li'l Mama!"
