Hana LOVED the music!
We got to see lots of trained birds: vultures, falcons, owls...
and even a Bald Eagle!
I was very excited to get to see my favorite fair show, the Scottish Rogues.
Hana REALLY enjoyed the bagpipes, but I couldn't get her dancing on video because I had to hold onto her because she was dancing on the bench!
And Daddy got to be King.
To cool down, she enjoyed an ice cream cone that was almost as big as her!
While watching the bar wenches perform, Iris and Rose "Wild and Thorny," we also got to see a tree man...

For some reason I decided to eat a turkey leg with Joe. What was I thinking? I'm not big on eating meat, much less meat on a bone, and even still it was dark meat on a bone. YUCK! Why on earth would I think it was a good idea to order a turkey leg? I managed to make it through about a third of it before I became too disgusted to take another bite. LOL

Growing up, my Memaw and Pepaw lived in Mansfield, so we saw this a lot on our trips to see them:
With it being the last day, they had their parade, and with it being Memorial Day, they honored the Veterans...
It was nice that all the veterans got in for free and were given yellow sashes to wear.

Then it was time to hit the road. I found Hana Grace like this before we even left the parking lot:

I'm not sure what kind of plant it is anymore. Josh always told me it was a glass plant and the big black claw you see would get filled with sand and close and heat up on the inside and make glass. Sure that that is really how it's done, I told Joe what I knew (or thought I knew). He laughed awfully hard at me. I guess that's not really what goes on there??
