We had a nice relaxing day today, well Mommy and I did anyway. Mommy pampered herself a little today with a pedicure. While she was away doing that (I can't wait 'til I can go too!) I took a nap and Daddy trimmed the bushes and trees and also fixed the fence (stinkin' wind!). Shortly after Mommy returned home we ran up to the store to get all the fixin's for chicken burritos. While we were gone, Daddy said there was a knock at the door. Who was it? It was our neighbor, Emily, and her Daddy. They came over to introduce themselves! When Daddy opened the door, she read him this note she wrote and eventually gave to him:
It says "I'm sorry to bother you. I know you are busy but I just wanna tell you that you are great in the naberhood. P.S. I'm sorry we haven't met yet but that's ok right? I'm glad you are in our naberhood."
This was on the other side:
And she also gave Daddy these pretty flowers!
What else did I do today?
I found my very own clubhouse! I had no idea my slide had a clubhouse under it! Charles Harry and I will have so much fun in here once he's big enough!
I love to help Mommy and Daddy water their plants...I also like to water my shoes.
Speaking of plants, look at Daddy's cilantro!
And his tomato blooms:
Am I a future soccer star?
Yesterday afternoon we went to our downtown area and had lunch on the patio at a restaurant. I made friends with everybody that walked by, including all the doggies! I even received a compliment from the nice couple sitting next to us who said that for some reason they cannot take their one or two year-old out to eat. They thought I was very well-behaved. This pleased Mommy and Daddy so much that I got extra hugs and kisses! Just when I think I can't get any more hugs and kisses, they just keep givin' 'em! I can't imagine Mommy and Daddy not being able to take me anywhere. What would we do? We love to explore!
As soon as we got home, it was nap time. Mommy woke me at 5:00 pm so we could go play with Charles Harry! He is so much fun!
We both love to read!
I like to give him hugs, but sometimes I don't realize my own strength. I also like to try to help him stand up. He uses furniture to pull himself up, but one of these days I'll be able to help (I hope)! He also showed me he's getting his first tooth! I sure feel sorry for him, I know the painful road that lies ahead. Hopefully his will come in pain free.
Mommy bought this bouquet while we were at the grocery store today. She showed them to me and told me that they are called Gerber Daisies. She explained to me that she doesn't think a more beautiful flower exists. She can really get weired about some things! LOL I thought I would share this picture of them with you since Mommy seems to think so much of them. They really are pretty though, aren't they?
