It seemed to have enough sugar in it regardless! LOL
She preferred to dip hers in her milk (just like everything else she eats these days). It ended up just making a doughy mess. I guess that's why they call them dough-nuts!
We skipped the city Easter Egg Hunt this weekend and decided to just hide some eggs in our back yard Saturday afternoon so Hana had an egg (or ball) hunt of her very own!
Pagan enjoyed it, too!
Hana and I started what I hope will be our tradition of coloring eggs. She had no interest in it whatsoever this year. LOL I had fun though!
Sunday we went to Dave and Annie's for an Easter celebration as well as a celebration of their confirmation. I hope I'm wording that correctly. They converted to Catholicism and their confirmation was Saturday night. They had a great turnout and even had an indoor Easter egg hunt since it was raining outside. Hana and Anjali really enjoyed hunting Easter balls. (I dropped my camera so now all the pics that require a flash now turn out blurry...?)
I think I'll keep the eggs out and we'll have year round hunts just for the fun of it. She'll be a pro come next Easter! It might throw her off when it comes to being a flower girl though. Maybe we'll throw the eggs out of the basket and then hunt them, it'll be a two-for-one type deal.
When we got home from the Easter celebration we gave Hana her Easter basket. I had a feeling she would go right for the egg cup so I went ahead and washed it and filled it with water. Good thinking, huh?
Joe was shocked that within two minutes of having her tea set she poured herself a cup and "drank" it. That just amazed him. He didn't think she'd "get it." I just had to laugh. She just continues to amaze us every day. Now she's all set and ready to play tea party. Maybe her second birthday party will be a big tea party? A garden tea party!!!
As you saw, our friends welcomed their second child this morning, Maci Victoria. She is such a cutie! Her big brother seems awfully proud of her.

Although, rumor has it that he said he loves his little sister, but immediately asked for a little brother too. Kids! LOL
I talked to Ashley for a long time this afternoon. She seemed to be doing very well in my opinion. She wanted me to post on the blog that all is well and she should be scheduling her surgery any day now. We will all be told one way or another when and where the surgery will be. They should be able to go in through her nose and she should only be in the hospital for a day or so I believe she said, but she will be recovering for many, many weeks and will be strictly bed ridden for that period of time. Once again, let's keep her in our prayers!
Our sweet girl is talking up a storm these days. We can understand a lot of it, but most of it sounds like this:
Hana got a couple of new hats today. Here she is modeling one:
How could I not enjoy every second with her?!
TTYL! :-)
