What is an Easter ball? Apparently that's what kids age 2 and under call Easter eggs. So this weekend was our HOA Easter Egg0-stravaganza. Mom (or should I say Ninny) came up and joined in the fun. That's right, it's Ninny, or maybe it's NeeNee. We had walked across the street to a garage sale Saturday morning (Hana got lots of books, videos, a backpack and a vanity!). As we were paying, Mom called to tell me she was pulling in the drive. We hurried up to get home, but as we were crossing the street Hana spotted her. "NeeNee!" she yelled and ran as fast as she could towards her. I had to catch her to take the backpack full of books and videos off her because it was weighing her down. She just kept yelling, "NeeNee! NeeNee!" until she finally reached her arms! We all stood there with tears in our eyes...
The Easter festivities began at 3:00. There were Easter balls everywhere. Can you fine them?
They had the grounds divided by age, so ours was 2 and under. This was our area.
Hana had no idea what was about to happen, but she loves to pick things up, so I knew she would do well.
On your mark, get set, go!
She found her 1st egg!
And a few more...
But you know our Hana, she loves to share!
One for you, one for me?
She gave away the colors she didn't like. She wanted to keep (and take) all the purples. Here she is digging in her friend Christopher's Easter basket.
She got the hang of it quick, she just didn't want to be greedy.
Her Aunt Victoria showed up towards the end. She and Hana had fun on the swing. We also watched the big kids hunt a little.
We had such a good time with Grammy, Nanny, Ninny and NeeNee???Hana was feeling a little nostalgic:
Hana also received her very first set of golf clubs this weekend. Her Daddy is going to teach her to play. Maybe she can hit some golf balls with Daddy and Gramps some day.
I didn't take a picture but Nanny, NeeNee (whatever!) brought Hana the biggest Easter basket in the world - and it was full of real Easter Balls!!!
I have been sick all weekend, and was especially sick during the Easter ball hunt. I didn't take as many pics and videos as I would have liked. The City's Easter festivities are this coming weekend. It seems only Joe, Hana and I will be attending that one, but I will make sure to take lots and lots of pictures and videos to share!
