Doggy Doody Duty

Let me introduce you to my new best friend:

The doggy had a little accident in our bedroom in the middle of the night last night. I woke up to Joe calmly saying "Ew, ew, ew. Help. Ew, help." Pagan sleeps on his side of the bed. He rolled right out of bed and slid in a nice (cold) pile of doggy doo. It was cold because it had been sitting there so long - marinating the carpet. That was at 5:00 this morning. He cleaned his foot, I cleaned the carpet and the dog. Remember how her back legs don't work very well these days? Well, use your imagination. Bless her heart, she tried to let us know. Joe heard her making a lot or racket at some point, but we're just not used to her needing to go out at night like that. Maybe it was a freak thing, maybe it's the beginning of a new phase of my life: night time doggy duty to prevent night time doggy doody! LOL As I was scrubbing the floor with a can of Resolve I saw a commercial for the Bissell Little Green and decided that it was a sign from God. I must have this thing! Two hours later, after Hana woke up (LOL, it was 5:00 am!) and we had breakfast, we were off to the store - and guess what. It was on sale!!! I just put it to use and it worked wonders! I cannot believe I've gone so long without it. And even better still? It's environmentally friendly! Each one is made from at least 75% recycled material, it's PVC free and the solution is even earth friendly. It contains no heavy metals, optical brighteners, phosphate or dyes! Yeehaw! I was afraid I would never allow Hana Grace back in our room for fear of doggy doo residue - you know me - but now I feel it's safe for her to be in there. I feel like the floor is actually clean and doody free! I can't wait to use it again. LOL Bring on the spills, Hana Grace!
