Okay. For starters, I am only playing this creepy yet fantastic song because Ninny requested it. It is called "A Day In The Life," although it is a sad song. Don't listen to the words, only pay attention to the title. =)
Today I decided to document a day in my life so I could let all my fans see what it's like to be me. We didn't do anything special today. This was just another day of being Hana Grace. We were supposed to go to a play date at 11:30, but since I was sick the past couple days Mommy didn't think it was a good idea for me to be around other kids. I would hate it if they gave me their germs, so why should I give them mine?
I woke up just after 7:00 this morning and hung out in my bed for a little bit. I always like a little "me time" in the mornings. I'm sure Mommy likes a little "her time" as well. Around 7:30 she busted in with the camera - the start of another great day.
First thing first: A dry diaper! Then we had our typical snuggle time and, yet again, Mommy tried to steal all my kisses. She'll never be able to get all my kisses!
Around 8:00 every day it's time for breakfast. This morning Mommy and I halved an egg sandwich (she ate some of my half too!) I also had a mango and vanilla soy milk smoothie. I'm feeling much better now, but I have been a little under the weather so Mommy's trying to pack in as much Vitamin C as possible.
It was also time for something else. (Thanks for teaching me to blink like Big E, Ninny! - NOT!)
Around 8:45 every morning we give Pagan her breakfast since she takes medicine at 9:00 and we don't want her to take it on an empty stomach.
After breakfast is good and digested, I usually spend some time in my "baby cage" while Mommy washes her face, puts on make up, gets dressed, etc. I don't mind being in there, I have much more room than I did in my play pen and look at all the toys I have in there! I guess this way Mommy doesn't have to watch me too closely since I am very curious these days.

Once Mommy's all ready, it's my turn! I LOVE to stand on my new stool and brush my teeth. The stool makes it so I can see in the mirror!

Today we went to Big Lots. They had some outdoor chairs (just my size) on sale for $5 this week so we definitely had to get a pair. I ate my 10:00 snack while Mommy shopped around a bit.

Next stop: the grocery store. In this picture I thought I saw Ninny. There was a lady loading groceries in her car and I thought for sure it was Ninny. I yelled and yelled "Ninny!" over and over again. Mommy kept telling me it wasn't my Ninny, but it was probably someone's Ninny.
We saw some garage sale signs while we were out, so we had to drive by to see if anything caught our attention. It didn't. We made it home just in time for lunch. What was on the menu today? Mommy and I shared last night's left over jambalaya. Mommy took all the spicy sausage out of mine and replaced it with bland ol' chicken, though.
I was really thirsty, and nothing hits the spot like a cup of organic whole cow's milk. Yum! See what a big girl I am? I don't even need a lid anymore!
What comes after lunch time? NAP TIME!
While I was napping, Mommy mixed up a recipe for organic weed killer she found on the Internet. She mixed 32 oz of white vinegar with 4 oz lemon juice concentrate. This way she can get rid of the weeds but it will still be safe for Doggy and me to play where she sprayed. I'll be sure to have her let you know how it works.
Mommy also fed Doggy her lunch and cleaned the sticky price tags off of my new outside chairs we got at Big Lots. Aren't they cute?!
I didn't have a very good nap today. For some reason I decided to stick my leg through the railings of my crib again. I haven't done that in a long time. I really got it stuck good this time though. It upset me really bad, you'd think I'd learn my lesson! Mommy tried to get me to lay down in her room but I decided an hour's worth of sleep was enough for me. It was time to play! One of my most favorite things in the world is to take things off the shelf in Mommy and Daddy's bathroom and throw it all in the bath tub. I think Mommy has mentioned that before.
I also like to play in empty diaper boxes. Shortly after this picture was taken I fell out of this particular box and bumped my head on the night stand. OUCH!
I played downstairs until it was time for my 4:00 snack.
Strawberry-banana yogurt! Yummy to my tummy!
Then what? We went to the park! Mommy always has a little more time to fill on Fridays since Daddy works until 6:00. This usually means we go for a walk - and a lot of the time we end up at the park, like we did today!
I even made a friend at the park today. Her name is Ellie and she'll be 2 in May. We had lots of fun playing together. Mostly we just picked up the dirty sticks and rocks though. Mommy didn't take a picture of Ellie for fear that her Mommy would think she was a weirdo.

After playing with Ellie for about half an hour we came back home and I tried out one of my new chairs. Mommy put it in front of the TV and turned on Strawberry Shortcake. I don't watch TV. I don't need to be entertained, I am the entertainment.

We went upstairs to play some more until it was time to help Mommy cook dinner. I like to pretend I'm cooking dinner. See how well I can stir?
Daddy got home just before 7:00 and just in time to save Mommy's dinner. Yes, tonight was a failed attempt at Beef Stroganoff. We don't know who to blame. Daddy wanted it. Mommy wanted to make it homemade rather than buying it in a box (although she says that's just what she'll do next time). Daddy found the recipe online and got the meat from a butcher by his new work. The butcher convinced him to buy some kind of meat that just did not taste good at all - so they said. Mommy didn't make me eat it. I got to have more chicken with peas, carrots and some noodles. We usually go for a walk after dinner, but tonight we just played out back.
Mommy and Daddy lost track of time so I didn't get in the bath until 8:30 tonight. I had a quick bath and was fast asleep by 9:00.
