Eat It Up!

One of our favorite things to do around here is eat. We need food to survive, so we might as well enjoy it, right? Since Hana Grace gets 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, eating consumes a lot of our time! Every time I turn around it's time to feed Hana again; that's why a lot of our pics are from the high chair! LOL Here she is enjoying a yummy breakfast of yogurt and graham crackers this morning...
Now, here she is enjoying a snack - chocolate and vanilla swirl pudding.
Hey there, puddin' face!
***Hana knows "eat," "more" and "bite." When she wants to eat she says "eat!" When she wants a bite of what you're eating she says "bite," and when she wants more of what she's already eaten , she says "more!" (She even knows the sign for "more") This morning she even let me know that Pagan was eating, right after she told Pagan hi, of course! No worries, she also knows not to mess with puppy while she eats!

Here's our Hana modelling an outfit Lisa and Nikki gave her. Believe it or not, the top is sized 6-9 months. It originally came with a pair of pink pants that she wore and outgrew months ago so I just paired it with these little pink leggings. Stylin'!
She wore this outfit for our interesting shopping experience on Monday. We attempted to go to Wal Mart but were pretty much turned away at the door. They had no electricity and were running on emergency lights. The cash registers were down, but people were still going in to shop! Crazy, crazy, crazy Wal Mart-aholics! We left and went to Kroger. That was a whole other experience. Apparently they have decided to remodel the inside. Things had been taken off shelves and were in boxes to be moved to another aisle. I literally chose paper towels from a mountain of paper towels piled on the floor. Obviously the signs above the aisles that let you know what's on the aisle were inaccurate so our shopping trip took about three times as long as it should have. How fun! :0
What's more, Joe has requested I buy him non-whitening toothpaste. He doesn't like the way whitening toothpaste tastes (it's the baking soda), and that's all I buy apparently. At Kroger Monday, the toothpaste, just like everything else, was just piled up in what I assume is going to be it's new location. I just grabbed one and left. I saw that it had mouthwash in it (which is something he likes) so I was pleased with my selection. When I got home I proudly displayed it on his sink. That night when we were getting ready for bed and he was about to brush his teeth I was confused by his question. "Courtney, do you think I have yellow teeth?" Apparently the new toothpaste is also "whitening!" I took a moment to reminisce about my gloriously fun-filled day of shopping and said, "If it weren't for me, you probably would have yellow teeth!" I guess I fixed that problem.

It's okay Joe, you have nice white teeth thanks to Courtney!
Do we need to go clothes shopping for Hana??
