A Cold & Lazy Spring Day?

We had a GREAT breakfast this morning. Viva la Golden Corral! LOL Know what's better than a breakfast buffet? Scrambled egg pizza! It sounds disgusting, I know. You'll just have to trust me on this one. Cheese pizza with scrambled eggs baked right on top. YUM! I don't like to go to buffets to stuff my face. I really just like the variety. I get to try things that I wouldn't ordinarily order - like scrambled egg pizza! Joe even got to try menudo. No, not the one with Ricky Martin. The soup. Let me just say that it smelled horrible. He took one taste and that was it. Now this is the guy that loves to eat octopus, squid, escargot, just about about anything off a foreign menu, and everything else in the world that grosses me out. I do realize that this was Golden Corral's menudo. I told him he needs to have someone's grandma make him a batch - he would probably love it then.

Afterwards we cruised around our updated downtown area and then found an estate sale to peruse. We followed the signs that directed us to this really old house. It seriously looked like it was about to collapse. Throughout the house there were tables set up to display some poor deceased old lady's belongings. Everything in there had to be about 100 years old. No joke. They were selling everything. All of her doilies and linens and her sweet little shoes and dresses, everything right down to her "Greatest Grandma in the World" mug. SO SAD! There really wasn't anything there worth buying, just some sweet lady's memories. Hana Grace spit up all over me while we were there so we had to leave abruptly anyway.

Next we decided to go into Big Lots and see what they had to offer us. I FINALLY found some valances for the playroom! Those things can be costly, and you know me, I'm always looking for a deal! For $3 each I found these adorable things - and they had four of them, just like I needed!

How happy do you feel just looking at those polka dots? LOL

Now we're back home being lazy. I hope everyone else is enjoying this cold & lazy spring day!

BTW, Hana Grace is drinking warm chocolate milk as I type this. She seems to like it! She didn't get stupid happy at first taste like I expected, but she's drinking it. LOL
