Fantastic Friday

Today was another beautiful day. I've had the windows open the past couple days just letting the house air out. It has been so pretty outside!

We had a play date this afternoon at Harlika's and we had a blast. Isaac is walking now! I know I sound like a broken record, but I can't help myself. These kids are growing up way too fast! Every play date becomes more and more interesting as the babies morph into toddlers. Hana hung in there for a while considering the play date was at 11:30 and she usually naps at noon. We made it home by 1:30 and I was able to just lay her right in the crib because she fell asleep in the car. Harlika doesn't even live 5 minutes from me! LOL She was a trooper though. She never even got very fussy. Every once in a while she would "strike a pose" (that's how you know she's sleepy: thumb in mouth and her other hand rubbing her ear). It's funny because Chris knows her signs well enough now that she would see it and say, "It's Hana's nap time!" Yes, speaking of Chris, Charlie Brown -aka The Happiest Baby In The World - made an appearance at the play date today. Everyone seems to be doing very well. We even got to see Alicia and Ava and Ava was proud to show off her new little brother, Tyler. Yet another cutie patootie!

So tomorrow is the day. The day that Joe and I spend our first night away from our sweet Hana Grace. It's going to be bittersweet. I am so excited to see Robert Earl Keen at Billy Bob's, but at the same time I can't help but to feel a little sad. I'm sure going to miss giving her her bath tomorrow night, reading to her, singing to her, kissing her forehead and rubbing her head until she drifts off to sleep. I'll especially miss hearing her say "night night," which sounds more like "nigh nigh." I know I'm leaving her in good hands though. If I can't feel safe leaving her with her Gramps and Grammy then who can I feel safe leaving her with?! They're the type that would sleep on the floor of her bedroom if it made her happy! LOL Gosh, I hope they don't do that. I'm certain she won't be any trouble for them, she is such a wonderful little girl. You know me though, I have a play-by-play schedule written out just in case they have any questions! Hey, Mom asked for it. You ask and you shall receive! So wish us luck tomorrow night. I hope we can enjoy ourselves...and maybe sleep in a little Sunday morning? We'll see!

I've been meaning to let you know that Jenn took some really cute pics of Hana Grace a couple weekends ago. Here's a teaser:

Thanks for all the videos....tell Hana that Gramps and Grammy are on the way to her house. We are going to have a good time, and we want mommy and daddy to have a wonderful time. DO NOT WORRY....HANA IS IN GOOD HANDS WITH BOTH OF US...and YES, if necessary we will sleep on the floor of her bedroom...anything that makes Hana Grace happy makes us happy. See you in a few....by the way saw the horns off of that shirt in the last video.....she look much better in maroon! GIG 'EM!! Hana Grace!
