Little Charles and Christine just left. We had a so much fun today. Mostly because little Charles can now play!
Watching him grow up seems to go by as quickly as watching Hana grow up! LOL He is so happy. I have never seen a happier baby, except for my Hana. He's cruising now, so it won't be long until he's walking! My goodness, how time flies by. He's such a cutie too. Those eyes are still as blue as ever and he smiles and laughs all the time. Hana Grace showed her love by giving him lots of hugs and kisses. When they first arrived and we went up to the playroom, as soon as Chris sat him down, he took off. This really excited Hana. She squealed and clapped her hands as if to say "Yea, we can play now!" She used to always pat his head and say "baby." He won't be a "baby" for much longer. Soon he'll be toddling alongside Hana Grace!
Hana did a pretty good job of sharing her toys today. I read an article about hosting play dates that suggested putting away your own kid's favorite toy(s) so the other kids won't have a chance to play with it and upset your kid. The problem is, Hana's faves change daily. I think her all-time favorite thus far is her wagon, but she seems to enjoy sharing it. Today she had issues sharing her stroller which she showed no interested in until Charles wanted to push it. Go figure! LOL When I tried to explain sharing and showed her how she could push her other toy instead, she became angry and started hitting herself in the head. That's her newest. I'm trying the ignore method on this one. I'm hoping that if I don't react to her hitting herself in the head (with her hands or whatever she may be holding at the time) then she will stop - hopefully. And so it begins...
Speaking of Hana Grace, she learned a couple of new tricks today. I put her in her playpen so I could give Pagan her medicine with no interruptions and came back to find a naked baby. She took her diaper off! Luckily I had just changed her so there was only a tiny bit of tee tee in it. No poop, thank goodness! What's the second trick she learned you ask? She said "diaper!" Yes, she was saying diaper as she was pointing to it to show me where it was. Where was it? When she apparently threw it out of the playpen it landed in the laundry basket. "Diaper. Diaper," she said as she proudly pointed to it! LOL My response was "Good job?" How do you even react to that? Yes, I have all of this on video, but I felt it inappropriate to post her nakedness on the blog.
