Honey-Do's

Today Joe is tackling his honey-do list.
* change A/C filters
* install new toilet seat
* install new shower head upstairs
* install new shower head downstairs
* fix kitchen sink leak
And he's almost done!
This morning we ventured out to have brunch at La Madeleine.

After a great meal, we stopped to get gas. As Joe was pumping the gas, I noticed this:

These signs always give me the heebie jeebies. I know it's a great thing that there are "Safe Places" for women to leave their unwanted babies. It's much better than hearing about babies being found in dumpsters and public toilets, etc. I'm used to seeing these signs at hospitals, fire stations, police stations, and the like. Apparently the Quick Trip off the highway is a Safe Place to leave your baby. At first, though, the Zoner in me really came out. "I cannot believe leaving your baby at that light post in the gas station parking lot is a Safe Place," I said to Joe. His response? "Courtney, I don't think they mean for women to leave their babies at the light post. I think it just means that the Quick Trip is a Safe Place. The whole point is that you actually have to hand the baby over to a person" No comment. And no, my roots are not blonde.

Since Hana Grace is all about babies right now, Mom suggested I show her how to swaddle her baby in a blanket. Wouldn't it be cute if Hana started wrapping her babies up in blankets and carrying them around? She already loves them, rocks them, pats their backs and sings to them. What a great idea, I thought. So I showed her how to do it:
This is what Hana thought about it:

And, in case you were wondering, Hana is back on the wagon. Actually she's still on the wagon because she never got off...LOL!

I guess fishing is just in her blood. After all, her Nana loves to fish, as well as her cousin Brad, her Gramps, her Uncle Hollywood and don't forget her Daddy! Well guys, she's got her worm on the line and she's ready to go!
Oil Scent of the day: "Warm Sugar Nuts" - Add 6 drops of each: Warm Amber by The Body Shop, Allspice & Nutmeg by Bath & Body Works, Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath & Body Works. How does it smell? Really good, actually. It smells like amber, allspice, nutmeg, vanilla and sugar! It's nuttily delicious!
