Hana's Playhouse

I read a while back that it's a good idea to have a kid-friendly cabinet or drawer that they are allowed to get into. (Remember the jewelry cabinet incident of 2008?)

Well, I learned from that mistake! All of my kitchen cabinets are child proof except one that I put unbreakables in so it's "kid friendly." Hana loves to get in it and pull everything out. Some of the unbreakables in that cabinet happen to be my kitchen Christmas decorations. Hana's favorites are the snowman soap dispensers.

I quickly grew tired of constantly picking the snowmen up from all over the house, most commonly out of Pagan's water bowl. So I just gave up and gave Hana her very own cabinet.

What do you think? Do you think she likes it? I can't tell. LOL
She's slowly taking over the entire house. Not only does she have her very own bedroom, a humongous playroom, and even a huge play house out back, but now she's moving into the kitchen!

We had a nice visit with the Brooms last night. Little Charles is just too cute for words. As I mentioned before, he is crawling and now he's even pulling up and walking with help! He and Hana Grace seem to have their very own language. (Nilvo, Milvom, ilvit's nilvot Pilvookilvydilvoo) Listen closely and you can hear them "talk" to one another! LOL

What does it look like when a 13 month old has a fit and throws herself on the kitchen floor?
She's such an ornery little girl! :-) She's probably just mad because she wants another cabinet.

Hana had cottage cheese for the first time yesterday, and to her Father's dismay she loved it - she is her Mommy's girl!

Rowdy is getting along just fine over here. He's such a sweet little guy. He just minds his own business and Hana walks over and pets "Puppy" every once in a while. He's very good with her. As you can see, he's been shaved, but he still has his signature "Rowdy mop on top" that Hana just loves to run her fingers through.

This is what he and Pagan do all day, they're SO much trouble, I tell you! LOL See Rowdy all the way to the left and Pagan way over on the right? Neither one ventures too far from their pillow.

Hana likes to watch Rowdy while he's outside.

And Hana's new word is "Yea." She even nods her head when she says it!
