Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Massey family, Numero Ocho. That's right, Hana Grace is finally getting tooth number 8! It seems like ages since she cut a tooth, and this time is much different from the last. This time she knows something is going on. She's aware that there is something coming out of her gums and causing her pain. She touches it and holds her mouth to show me what hurts. She seems obsessed with the little eruption - her mouth volcano, as her weird Daddy called it. She brought it to our attention last night, at that time it was a mere cut in her gum. This morning you can really feel that little guy. She didn't even want to drink her milk this morning and she normally chews the spout of her sippy cup to ease her teething pain. I filled her meshy with frozen honeydew melon and that helped for a while. Now we've moved on to Baby Orajel. I hate to tell her that Numero Ocho is going to win this fight, just like Numero Nueve and so on. The least we can do is help them to come in peace.

I can't remember if I've posted pics of Hana's new room. It is at least twice the size of her old room and that's not an exaggeration! She'll have plenty of room to grow and play in there (and possibly share it with a little sister one day - if we have more kids than bedrooms!).
