Quick Update

I spoke with JennEllen this morning and she informed me that Dian had the tube removed from her throat last night. Hooray! She has already had some much needed ice chips and from what I hear she's now able to have clear liquid so she's looking forward to some apple juice if she hasn't had it already. She's been sitting up and even shuffled around the edge of the bed a bit. This is great news! They are going to let the wound heal itself, no stitches or staples, so it's going to be a very slow healing process, especially since she's diabetic. The word is that she will remain in the hospital through next week. Please keep her in your prayers! Dian, if you're able to read this (maybe using Jenn's super cool iPhone) we love you and you're always on our mind! Keep it up and you'll be going on that cruise before you know it!

BTW, I will get pics posted soon. I have been bad and haven't had my camera out much since Josh and Jenn, the photographers of the family, have been around. Just before he left, Josh loaded over 300 pics onto my computer that he took, but I'm not in the mood to go through them right now. I've got a touch of the blues with Dian being in the hospital and Josh just leaving. Plus, I've got a sick and grumpy little girl on my hands. I haven't forgot about you guys and how much you like pics and videos, I'll come through for you soon...I promise!
